How do Network Editions help a Long Term Care Facility?

Using a Network Edition spreads the responsibility for entering and evaluating information in the system to all Nurse Managers that have been given access to the system.  It empowers the Nurse Manager to better manage Unit information and work toward developing positive outcomes for their Residents.  This frees the person overseeing the system to manage the information, to view or add information, to view and print facility reports, and to develop and/or recommend changes in facility processes, as needed, to assist the facility in providing quality care.  The Network Editions allow multiple computers within your facility to be used to enter information into the same database and to view and print reports.  The computer workstations where the workstation portion of the system will be installed must be connected to the server where the server portion of the system is installed.  The Network Edition databases are located on a server which better enables you to backup the databases on a daily basis.

Network Edition

This edition is different than the Desktop Edition.  Each computer where the workstation portion of the system is installed, must have a workstation license.  On the licensed workstation, staff may enter information, view information, and print reports.  For some of our products, this helps each Nurse Manager to learn regulatory processes as they enter information into the system.  If you wish to limit access to the system to only certain individuals, your Information Technology Department must limit access based your company's network log in procedures.
